Why I Started TukiCarter's

Hi! I am Grey, my husband is Kevin, and we named our biggest source of joy Denise (Tuki). Together we are what I cherish the most in life: my family, the Carters. We have a harmonious, peaceful, but fun and amicable home.

My Passion

I have a passion for helping young children and their parents. I have been preparing myself for years for this moment. Now, I have the time, resources, knowledge, skills, and motivation to provide children with a high-quality child care program that offers peace of mind to parents, allowing for more focus on work.

Childhood Nurture & Care

Scientists analyzed a long-running study and determined that teens who were in high-quality child care settings as young children scored higher on measures of academic and cognitive achievement.
Moreover, these teens were less likely to have acting-out behaviors than peers who were in lower-quality child care arrangements during their early years. High-quality care has been characterized by caregivers as warmth, support, and cognitive stimulation (Rick Nauert PhD, Psych Central).

My Daughter's Health & Happiness

As with me, every parent's priority is for her or his child to live a happy life. I believe that happiness relies on a set of balanced aspects: health (mental and physical), love, and accomplishments.

My Tuki is 8 years old. She prefers to sleep in her bedroom with the lights out and door closed. That has been her routine since she was 2 months old. However, every once in a while on weekends I allow her a night to sleep cuddled up with us. She loves the balance. She is very confident and fears very little. She walks by herself to the bathroom at night if she has to go potty, unless she is feeling ill and needs mommy's nurturing. Tuki is in the 2nd grade, but her academic level is that of a 4th grader.

She loves riding her scooter and playing with her stuffed animals. Her favorite snack is spinach with strawberries (I know it's weird, right?). Tuki is happy, healthy, and confident. My goal is to help you influence and provide your child with an early start in a life full of similar happiness and success.
